AFTER years of business downturn occasioned by policy summersaults such as
multiple tax regimes, power outages, collapse infrastructure and business
assault through globalization the management of one of the nation's surviving
conglomerates John Holt PLC has announced her unaudited result for third quarter
of the year which ended on 30 June 2008.
The result shows a turnover of N16.81 billion in the period under review as
against N12.53 billion in the comparative period of 2007.
Profit after tax and exceptional items stood at N705 million compared with
profit after tax of N12 million in 2007.
