Sailing with Laugh and Sail Groove

THE Navy Town known for harbouring Ahoys and sailors, is planning to get the groove on in the vicinity as they mark the Independence Day celebration with Laugh and Sail Groove.

The event will be powered by PROJECT 2, an events management outfit that has been mandated by the management of the Navy Sailing Club to successfully host the event.

The grove will be held inside the Navy Town and is expected to have fans from Festac, Satellite Town, Kirikiri Town, Mile 2 Estate and the over 30,000 inhabitants in the military barracks coming to have the best of entertainment. .

The event which will be the first of its kind in the entertainment world would see the event flagged off with a boat race in the morning of October 5th, 2008, and will now be completed with a musical and comedy show for both invited guests and individuals .

Top on the bill of acts being pencilled down for performance are Obiwon, Nigga Raw, Roof Top MCS, X-Project ,Faze, wave making Sensation KAHA and some other promising musical artistes, while the organizing team that is PROJECT 2 has also concluded plans to bring to Navy Town the best comedy acts in the country.
