FORMER junior international, Paul Moses whose scintillating performances in recent years have seen him make the headlines, at the weekend stormed the All England Club venue of the on-going Wimbledon Tennis Open.

Moves revealed that the tournament will be his first on grass as he has been playing on hard and clay surfaces since embracing the game about a decade ago.

The Delta-born star prospect, enjoying the sponsorship of Captain Sam Phil-Ebosie stunned the South African World of Tennis Club in 2006. He defeated South Africa's top ranked U-18 player, Remmy Belmourt in the final of a tournament organized by the Pretoria-based academy.

The player, through Ebosie's Skynote Nigeria Limited also featured in futures tournaments in Barcelona, Spain and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2007.

Mose said that he relishes the prospect of watching Swiss Roger Federer and Spaniard Rafael Nadal, the top two best players in the game live in Grand Slam. He returns to Nigeria towards the end of August to prepare for the ITF Satellite circuit and the Lagos Governor's Cup
