2008 IPPC exhibition: Visitors throng venue
By ANDREW OJIEZEL
ALTHOUGH the 2008 International Pastors and Partners Conference (IPPC) might
have come and gone, the experiences, the joy of meeting old friends, making
new friends, and the gifts exchanged by both participants and visitors would
long be remembered.
The IPPC exhibition was organised by Believers' Loveworld Outreach Ministry,
otherwise known as Christ Embassy to showcase the products of members of the
church and also to exhibit the products and different ministries of the church.
The exhibition which was witnessed by many members and non-members of the
church worldwide became a carnival of sorts as all the exhibitors and also
the visitors smiled home with one gift item or multiple gift items.
The Rhapsody of Realities stand, thrilled all its visitors with gifts ranging
from Rhapsody of Realities gift bag, filled with water flask, beautifully
designed jotters, biros, key holders and others. The Healing school on its
own ensured that nobody passed by its two stands without a badge, gifts ranging
from bags, jotters with biros.
The Linkserve Internet Solutions Providers, the OX4 table water, National
Standard Magazine and the National Daily among others exhausted all their
gift items because they received more visitors more than what they bargained
for.
In apparent bid to enjoy the gifts items being given out to visitors, almost
all the exhibitors have to strolled to their neighbours' stands to enable
them partake in the free gifts from such stands.
Similarly a none-member of the church who perhaps visited the church's event
for the first time could not hide his observations.
According to the man “If every church in the country is showing the
kind of love and care that I noticed here today, it means there hope for Nigerians.
I hope this kind of love exhibited in this exhibition ground is sustained
after the event because it is a sign that all members of the church are well
grafted into the joy of Christ, that no one among them is left out without
the radiant love and care from the well-to-do among them.”
