Tell about your incursion into the real estate and property development?
I stated business as a Land Agent and Property Developer in 1998 and the charges for constructing a building depends on the type of house and location. The period of completing a building is also based on the ready availability of fund.
Which areas have you developed or sold land, in the past and how have you been able to cope with land speculators (Omo onile) who oftentimes disrupt building process at regular intervals?
I have succeeded in selling and developing lands at “Orudu,” and “ Oke Oko” area of the Ifo
Local Government Council without any controversy and there has not been any case of “Area boys” disrupting work. Most times I allow prospective land owners to pay in installment so as to remove the burden of paying in lump sum. I also entered into proper agreement with the family and the traditional rulers of the areas I sell land so as to forestall any controversy.
