A French mother who admitted killing eight of her newborn babies is relieved that her secret is finally out in the open, her lawyer has said.
Dominique Cottrez has been placed under investigation over the deaths, which happened between 1989 and 2006.
Frank Berton said his client was "tired, worn out and battered down" after her questioning.

Germany approves Euro 22.4bn bailout for Greece
IN a major boost to Europeans rally to bailout debt-ridden Greece, Germany ahead of an emergency summit of eurozone heads of state at the weekend, approved a 22.4billion euro (£19bn) contribution to fund.
The German lower house, the Bundestag, passed the bill after fiery criticism of Chancellor Angela Merkel. The upper house also endorsed it.
Greece's 15 partners in the eurozone are expected to lend it 80billion euros spread over three years , the International Monetary Fund (IMF ) 30bn euros.
MPs endorse Turkey's Constitution review
THE Constitution of Turkey has witnessed key review as the parliament last week approved all but one of 27 controversial changes, a move critics say could undermine the secular courts.
The main secular opposition accuses the ruling AK Party with Islamic roots of trying to seize control of state institutions.
As the AKP failed to get a two-thirds majority, the amendments will still be subjected to a referendum for the final endorsement.
The AKP has said that the reforms will help Turkey's application to join the European Union(EU).
