IT is quite disturbing and baffling that despite fast spreading spiritual knowledge of God and battery of religious men and women who flock to the churches and mosques daily, some people are still hooked onto the mundane wicked and evil widowhood practices, as were in the days of yore, in certain part of Nigeria.

A case just playing out in Nnewi, Anambra State, tends to buttress the sorry tales of widowhood in 21st Century Nigeria. National Daily Weekend  gathered that a family  has just  sacked  a widow  and her  three  kids from the properties owned by their  late breadwinner, and disposes them of documents of the  property barely  a few hours after passed on. The late man died in a plane crash   on his way to India for business.
This  wicked action has caused a war of attrition and is generating a serious cultural conflict in the family house of Onwubualili and the people of Ichi, in Nnewi, Anambra State south-East, Nigeria, an impeccable  source told National Daily Weekend.
