About National Daily

National Daily is a contemporary newspaper that has raised the bar in the Nigerian media industry. It commenced operations in October 2006.
National Daily, published by Paradigm communication Limited, is fast becoming “the newspaper of choice for balanced and well-researched content with a view to shaping the opinion of its readers in building a new culture of change and development in Nigeria.”

Renowned for its fearless investigative, objective and credible journalism, National Daily's target readers cut across the elite and other classes of the society, decision-makers in government; leaders in the business community; young graduates and undergraduates; young professionals and upwardly mobile individuals.

Mr Sylvester Ebhodaghe, a versatile media strategist who made his mark at The Guardian newspaper and National Standard magazine, is the
Executive Editor/CEO. Ebhodaghe is also Managing Director/CEO of
Paradigm Communications Limited, publishers of National Daily.

National Daily which is IT-driven and fiercely pro-development aims to
be Nigeria’s first truly multimedia newspaper house and we have put
in place the necessary mechanism to achieve that.

The paper’s circulation at the end of its first year of operation is
50,000 copies, with a pass-on rate of 1 to 10 and covering the
country's major cities, which include Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt,
Kano, Kaduna, Jos, Enugu, Owerri, Ibadan, Lokoja, Benin City and Calabar. It also has a planned 50 per cent growth in circulation by every other quarter.

We believe that this is achievable considering Nigeria’s huge literate population and the unique product we are offering, which
though serious in outlook, would at the same time have a soft flavour.

Thanks

Sylvester Ebhodaghe
Executive Editor/CEO
