P-Square pledges to sing about incessant power outages

MULTIPLE award-winning hip-hop group. P-Square have indicated that its next album will dwell more on songs that will speak out the suffering of Nigerians in order to make government wake up to its duties.

Speaking to Trend'tainment recently, the duo of Peter and Paul Okoye regretted the poor provision of basic social amenities like power to Nigerians saying that a country that prides itself as the giant of Africa should live up to its duties to its citizens.
“We are claiming that we are the giant of Africa when our power sector is in coma. We have the biggest oil wells in Africa and yet our government cannot provide us with power,” Paul said.

Their worry for the poor state of infrastructures like road, pipe borne water and electricity is coming in the wake of their Invasion Africa Project which has seen them through most African countries like Liberia, Zambia, Uganda t, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Rwanda and so on.

The Do Me crooners revealed that they were surprised to see that some countries that just came out from a war situation some few years ago boast of good roads, electricity and excellent health facilities that are lacking in Nigeria.

“All the countries we have been to, there has not been power disruption for any single day. Even in Rwanda that just came out of a war not quite long ago having uninterrupted power supply. We were surprised that a country that came out of a war 14 years ago has gotten their acts right and we are still at this stage,” Peter complained.

They promised that they will definitely sing about their experiences in their next album to see that the government provides these amenities to the citizenry.

Watch out for it my brother; we are getting details, data and information, our country cannot continue like this when we are not in any war,” P-Square resolved.
